Akimoto Tatsunoko Scholarship students

The name of the scholarship program has been based on the name of the Chairman, Akimoto Tatsuya.

It expresses the Chairman's wish to offer warm and continuing support to privately funded foreign students facing financial difficulties and that they will realize their initial ambitions in study in Japan with the Scholarship.

Objective

Financial assistance to foreign students who have come to Japan for privately funded studies at Japanese schools and who, despite outstanding scholastic aptitude and integrity of character, are unable to continue studying due to financial difficulties and, through such assistance, contribution to the fostering of goodwill with other countries and development of human resources on the international scale.

  • 2. Scholarship aid and guidance/counseling on everyday living for children at children's welfare facilities

  • 3. Scholarship aid and guidance/counseling on everyday living for children orphaned in natural disasters, traffic accidents, etc.

  • 4. Projects for supporting programs and organizations for the betterment of children's welfare

  • 5. Other projects needed to achieve the objectives of the Foundation
